Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

From the Desk of the IMD President

Praises and honor to the most high,

To the Missionaries of this great organization, I greet you in that matchless name, Lord Jesus Christ. I am truly humble and appreciative of the confidence you have in me that you have elected me to serve as your next International President. I am overwhelmed with joy and excitement for this opportunity and privilege to lead this department.

The impact and influence of the previous Presidents has calcified to the degree that I’m positioned, by the grace of God, to propagate our apostolic heritage.  It is with the sweetest of joy that I elucidate without apprehension, the precious teachings of our apostolic history that makes us who we are in this irreplaceable department. It’s without question that I owe my present posture of tenacity in the Word of God and my sincere commitment to this great department to our giants.

The very thought of naming a few of our giants, who I am deeply obliged, is scintillating. Just to name a few, Mother Mildred S. Lewis, Mother Ethelyn Rosier, Mother DyAnne E. Moultrie, Mother Doris G. Hudson, Mother Mildred S. Woolfolk, and of course, Mother Pandora Williams.

I am deeply aware of the obligations inherent in this awesome position and am prepared to effect change and continuity as we strive for good success in this department. Therefore, as your newly elected president, I propose to promote a more united and viable presence in the department through cooperation and collaboration. I believe that the development of a more cohesive and effective department has the potential to make great strides in the accomplishment of our department’s mission. I envision the following:

  1. Create a more participatory atmosphere amongst the leadership.
  2. Inspire a climate of compassion and willingness that reflects our purpose, while at the same time unwavering in our apostolic doctrine, practice and teachings.
  3. Rally the women of God to a common purpose and character with the confidence to accomplish the department’s mission as well as perpetuate the missionaries’ performance to a higher standard.
  4. To promote workshops and worship opportunities designed to address the temporal and spiritual needs for all missionaries.
  5. To encourage personal transformation through effective and healthy missionaries at every level of leadership

Thank you for your vote of confidence in me.
